## What EmailControl does

- DNSBL blacklist monitoring of the domain's mail-server IP (resolved via MX/A records)
- SPF record validation (presence, single-record rule, no +all)
- DKIM detection across common selectors (default, google, selector1, selector2, k1, dkim)
- DMARC record and policy parsing (none / quarantine / reject)
- Composite health score: 50% blacklist cleanliness, 30% authentication, 20% trend
- Email alerts within 15 minutes of a detected change, with plain-language fixes
- History charts (7 days to 1 year depending on plan) and an Agency-tier JSON API

## What EmailControl does NOT do

- It does not send email through monitored domains (no mail-server access needed)
- It does not modify DNS records automatically — it is advisory only; users apply fixes at their DNS provider
- It does not guarantee inbox placement; it reports blacklist and DNS status at check time
